Review Retro Classics Stuttgart 2020

From February 27th 2020 up to and including March 01st 2020, "Carola Daimler Cars" was represented as an exhibitor at Retro Classics in Stuttgart - the world's largest trade fair for driving culture. Together with the visual artist Ferencz Olivier, the company presented the great-granddaughter of vehicle pioneer Gottlieb Daimler a mixture of timeless classics and rarities on almost 500 square meters, as well as impressive works of art around the theme of the automobile by & with Mr. Olivier.

Among the numerous exhibits was an original replica of the first four-wheeled automobile. But among others, a rare Mercedes-Benz 300 d Cabriolet D and a Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc Coupé were also on display. But not only vehicles with the Stuttgart star were on the stand, but also other brands such as a Bentley 6 ½ Litre Speed Six and also a Bugatti Type 23 Brescia.

In addition, Mr. Olivier presented a selection of impressive works of art, which - created in his characteristic painting technique - tell their own story.

Usually the date of the show in February is not always optimal for some exhibitors. This year, however, the early date was a great stroke of luck, because the fair was only affected by the first outbreaks of the Corona pandemic and was one of the last fairs that could take place before the new contact regulations and hygiene rules.

Although the Corona pandemic meant that there were about a third fewer visitors to the trade show than last year, there was still a high proportion of trade visitors in the audience, who spent a long time there on average.

We were able to welcome many friendly and very interesting guests at our booth and are glad to have made valuable contacts. Particularly at our stand party as part of the Retro Night on the opening evening of the trade fair, we were able to establish not only high-quality business contacts, but also partnerships.

The fact that this year's special prize for the most beautiful trade fair stand in 2020 was awarded to us not only successfully rounded off the four days of the trade fair, but also confirmed the positive response to our trade fair presence.
