The Ferrari Testarossa Type F110 offered here is finished in yellow (Giallo Ferrari 102) paint, which is the original and thus actually typical Ferrari color. The flat sporty design by Pininfarina is classic and yet timeless. The Testarossa, which has now reached "cult status" was manufactured at the Scaglietti body plant in Modena. The black interior contrasts nicely with the exterior paint and completes the striking design of the vehicle.
The 5L V12 engine gives the Testarossa an incomparable sound and the 5-speed manual transmission tuned to the car allow for a breath taking driving experience.
The Ferrari, built in 1989, is a German first delivery with a current mileage of only 30,896 km. The last timing belt and service took place in 2015 at a mileage of 30,800 km. This collector's item comes from a renowned collection and is visually as well as technically in perfect condition and due to the low mileage something very special. A vehicle for true enthusiasts and an asset to any Ferrari collection.
The Ferrari Testarossa was first produced in 1984 and is the successor to the 512BB. The name Testarossa written together is a tribute to the racing cars 250 / 500 Testa Rossa. The racing car models spelled themselves in linguistically correct separation (Testa Rossa), which means "red head" in Italian. This was an allusion to the red-painted valve covers of the 12-cylinder engines.
All Testarossa models have a 5 liter naturally aspirated V12 mid-engine which is often called "Berlinetta Boxer", which is actually not quite true, as the engine has a 180 degree V arrangement. The type designation 512 derives from the 5 liters of displacement and the 12 cylinders.
It is a real icon of the 80s and a true flagship of the company Ferrari. The famous air intakes adorn the side view, they were at the time a sign of sporty design. Which was also gladly imitated.
In 1991, the engine was revised, the power was increased to 428 hp. Externally, the front was changed, with a trapezoidal grille, in the rear, the elevation on the engine cover was flattened and equipped with a radiator slot, in addition, the rear apron got an enclosure for the exhaust pipes. This model was given the designation 512 Testarossa (512TR).
The last model is the F512 M, this one also got a power increase to 440hp and was the last unlimited mid-engine twelve-cylinder. The distinguishing feature of the F512M are the clear glass headlights, which were replaced by the flip-up headlights. Only 501 examples of the F512M were produced.
