The Citroën DS Chapron convertible is undoubtedly a masterpiece of automotive history. Designed by the legendary French coachbuilder Henri Chapron, this convertible embodies pure elegance. This example, which we are offering for sale, left Henri Chapron's studio in 1968 and went to an architect in Lucerne.

The first owner drove the convertible for 3 years until he past away in 1971 and the car was taken over by a former employee. He decided to repaint the "goddess", which was originally white, completely in red due to a discoloration on the door. After 30 years and regular maintenances, the second owner decided to sell the car due to health reasons.

In 2001, the third and current owner acquired the Citroën and has maintained it to this day. The condition of the convertible is impeccable and was rated 2+ in an expert report. It is a true collector's item which was only built 128 times as a DS 21 M factory convertible. The history is extensively documented in written and pictorial form. An exceptional vehicle, which is not only a great investment, but also a delight on the road.
