The 356 A 1600S Speedster was designed as an open two-seater roadster model and was renowned for its sporty performance and iconic silhouette. With a lightweight aluminium body and a low windscreen, the Speedster exuded a touch of racing car aesthetics.
The Speedster was powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder boxer engine that developed 75 hp. Although this power may not seem impressive nowadays, the Speedster was a real sports car at the time, offering plenty of driving pleasure due to its light weight and agile handling.
Although the Speedster was only produced for a short time - from 1954 to 1958 - it still has an impressive fan base today. Its timeless design and sporty characteristics make it a coveted collector's item and a vehicle that has left an unforgettable impression in automotive history. It is a milestone in the company's history and a symbol of the golden years of sports car manufacturing.
